Cathy Cade Broughman, 78, a resident of Pennybyrn in High Point passed away on Sunday March 31, 2024 at the Wake Forest Atrium Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born October 22, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Glenn William Cade, Sr. and Christine Soupos Cade.
Cathy was a realtor for 30 years and had worked with Coldwell Banker in High Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gregory S. Broughman and two brothers, Steve DeMungear and Bill Dalton.
Cathy is survived by one son, Phillip “Phil” D. Broughman, (Jay) of Jamestown; one daughter, Deborah A. Palmer of Jamestown; one brother, Glenn William Cade, Jr. (Helen) of Potomac, MD; step-daughter, Sharon Small (Ken)and daughter Mayah; grandchildren, Sarah Palmer, Ben Palmer; nieces, Christine Sherman, Camille Wilson, Elizabeth “Beth” Cade and nephews, Alex Cade and Nicholas Cade.
Cathy loved and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She loved Art and was a wonderful artist.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Guilford Memorial Park. Following the service the family will have a reception and receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel.
