WOW what a wonderful ride! I’d like to first Thank my Creator, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for without Him I would have been nothing! He graciously provided me with a truly spectacular and Blessed life, and for that I’m forever eternally humbly Grateful! I want to Thank my parents who’ve already passed, they did everything they could to provide for me, most of all they provided unconditional love and I could never repay them for the sacrifices they made throughout my life so I could have a better life than they did. I want to Thank my beautiful lovely wife Sheila, you were the love of my life, a wonderful partner, mother, lover and most of all my best friend! You were always there for me and I was truly Blessed to have you in my life, we had a lot of good laughs and good times. I’d do it all again without hesitation! God Blessed me with two fine sons, Seth and Neil I couldn’t have personally hand chosen two better children, you’ve always lead by example for anyone to want to emulate. I’m so proud of the men you’ve become and I was always proud to be called your dad. Thank you for that privilege it was the greatest accomplishment of my entire life! Know I always love you and will be looking out for you! I have to mention my cousin Tony who was more like a brother to me than anything. Thank you for always being there for me, the wonderful memories, good times and so much laughter. You were a wonderful mentor to me and I always looked up to you. We never had a cross word and I loved you so much. My father always said you were lucky if you could fill one hand with true friends you could count on, those that would be there for you through thick or thin during anything. I can honestly say I was Blessed with true friends well more than numerous hands could count. So many in fact I can’t name them all here as I know I’d miss someone. You know who you are and from the bottom of my heart Thank You for your kindness, friendship and unwavering support throughout my entire life, again I’m truly humbled. Besides my wonderful family and friends, one of the highlights of my life was the privilege I had serving in the United States Army from 1986-1990. I went on to serve this country as a defense contractor around the world for thirty years. As a patriot and disabled veteran myself, I ask all who read this to always Stand for our nations flag and National Anthem. Be proud of the United States of America, it’s literally the greatest country in the world. Support all our troops as they have sacrificed far more than you’ll ever know unless you’ve served yourself. My passion was supporting our troops and veterans as well as hunting around the world, I lived to hunt, and to protect our Second Amendment rights and conservation efforts around the world. I challenge all that read this to get involved in their passions and support those organizations that support your passions and help give you a voice for your passions, otherwise your passions will eventually disappear or be taken away. Get involved, put your money and more importantly your time in supporting these organizations and their goals. I was a member of the following organizations and was proud to represent them: Life Member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Endowment Life Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Life Member of Safari Club International (SCI), Dallas Safari Club (DSC), Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), North American Hunting Club (NAHC) and a standing member for Ducks Unlimited (DU), Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever, and the Wild Sheep Foundation. I’ve always said that the dash (-) between the date you were born and the day that you die represents your entire life. Make sure that dash in your life means something, always be kind, be humble and enjoy life to its fullest, make each day count, life is tough you’ll go through ups and downs and challenges you never thought in a million years you could beat, but you did and you will. Stay focused and establish goals, when you hit a setback, recalibrate and always move forward! They say when you die you take nothing with you, I disagree, you take your voice, your WORD, as it will never be heard again. I hope I’ve helped inspire others to carry my words and wisdom with them so my words can continually be spoken and passed on to others to better their lives and influence good. Please don’t be sad in my death, it’s life and boy did I live a good one. Rejoice in knowing I loved life, was sincerely Blessed and lived it without having any regrets! Not many people can say that with conviction and truth. God Bless you all and for those of you that know and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ I look forward to the day we meet again in Heaven and spend eternity together. For those that don’t I pray you’ll reconsider and seek out the Truth and get to know Him personally. There will be no funeral, so please remember me and the good times, not sadness. In lieu of flowers for condolences I ask that any donation be made to the Safari Club International Foundation (safariclubfoundation.org or call 877-877-3265) in my memory, this foundation supports hunting around the world through education, humanitarian and conservation efforts. THANK YOU! Until we meet again, enjoy every minute of it!
