Mr. David Neal Harrelson

Mr. David Neal Harrelson, 52, of Greensboro, departed from this life very unexpectedly in Daytona Beach, Florida on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Chapel, 1900 Vanstory St., in Greensboro.

Born in Greensboro, December 17, 1959, David attended Dudley High School. He enjoyed storage auctions and made a career out of buying and selling. David was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite drivers were the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and now Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He loved football and the Green Bay Packers were his favorite team. He was a gun collector, liked to ride four wheelers, and most of all he liked spending time making memories with his family and close friends. He was preceded by a brother, Jerry Harrelson in 2006.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years Loretta M. Harrelson of the home; daughters, Tabitha M. Harrelson of Greensboro and Samantha L. Saunders of Greensboro; mother, Nita Reeks of Pleasant Garden; father, Bobby Harrelson of White Lake; sister, Mavis Moore of White Lake; brothers, Bobby Harrelson, Jr., of Greensboro, Carson Harrelson of Gibsonville, and Kaleb Harrelson of Greensboro; granddaughters, Taylor Saunders, Rebekah Miller, and Emma Holder.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 pm Saturday, February 24, 2012, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the funeral service.
