Dawn Cheri Owen Minor

Dawn Cheri Owen Minor, 45, of Greensboro, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Dawn was born June 19, 1969 in Greensboro, the daughter of William Basco Owen and Jean Thornlow Owen.

Dawn attended Western Guilford High School where she was in the band and Drama club. She was employed by Bodyhelix LLC and enjoyed reading and roller skating. Dawn was a free spirited big hearted person who enjoyed being around people and will be missed.

Dawn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank Cody Thornlow and Evelyn Hazel Thornlow, as well as her aunt, Ann Wood.

Surviving are her children, Brittany Lynn Todd and Brandon Todd, parents, Bill and Jean Owen; brother, Andy Owen and three grandchildren, October Rahin Todd, Kailiah Williams and Roaryn Williams; former husbands, Craig Minor and Jacob Todd.

Friends will be received Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
