Debbie was born in Guilford County on June 16, 1950, to the late John Thurston Ross and Margaret Marie Clark Ross. She graduated from Southeast High School and worked for Dun & Bradstreet for 26 years. Debbie loved playing Bingo and could be found and the American Legion every Wednesday night. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Teresa “Terry” Ross Cooke (John); nephew, Wilson James “Jay” Tussey, III; niece, Jaclyn “Jackie” Tussey Gourley (Tony); great-nephew, Ian Eugene Gourley; stepmother, Barbara Ross; stepsister, Ellen; stepbrothers, Mel and Mike; and other extended family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
