

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, with Rev. B. J. Owens officiating. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church following the graveside service.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 30, 1912. She was an active member at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church until her health began to decline. She retired as Supervisor of the Greensboro City School Cafeterias. Lib was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed knitting and quilting, loved to shop, and volunteered for Meals-On-Wheels for years. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren B. Harrell, Sr. and her daughter, Betty Klemm.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Loren B. Harrell, Jr. and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Sharon Crawford and her husband Tim, Robert M. Teague, Lori Harrell and her husband Scott; and Matthew J. Harrell and his wife Anne Elizabeth; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Bradshaw Harrell, Matthew J. Harrell, Jr., and Samuel Thomas Crawford, all of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
