Born in Brooklyn, New York on a cold February 1st of 1991, to Jacqueline Waldron and Edwardo Harrison, then raised with warmth in Greensboro, North Carolina. New York's rugged tenacity and ingenuity, mixed with the South's tenderness and compassion, created a complex and rebellious soul with a ferocity that pushed boundaries. She sought alternative interests and had a genuine, intense desire for more in life. If she set her mind on something, she was going to do it and put her all into it as well.
Franchesca always emphasized authenticity, passion, and love. She was a head turner, a ball of chaotic fun, a riot, and as always, a great time.
During her teens, Franchesca graduated from Walter Hines Page High School in 2009, where she thrived in various activities which included modeling, art, and theater. She was heavily involved with alternative fashion influenced by anime, the scene fashion of the 2000s, and alternative stars of that era. She was a part of Page's theater troupe called "Page Playmakers", where she had several segments and worked behind the scenes by creating props and painting backgrounds.
Franchesca attended Guilford Technical Community College, where she majored in visual arts, which included graphic design and photography. Despite her studies, she simultaneously worked, photographed, and modeled on the side. She also made time to live life a little on edge, going dancing and partying with her cousins and friends. She also took the occasion to hang out with her siblings on small outings by any means necessary: bus, car, or on foot.
In her early twenties, she took a dramatic shift towards what she felt would be her calling in life. She began sewing costumes based on the anime and games we grew up with, commonly known as cosplay. The cosplay community in the west became huge during the 2010s, and as always, Franchesca's going to be right on the scene giving her all. She participated in several contests, interviews, and even co-hosted a podcast,"Anime and Trap." One thing she was going to do was get herself out there.
She adored animals as well and always advocated for their safety. Franchesca cared deeply for animals, from our family's little Minnie Mae, to her husky, Anastasia, back in Portland. There also were several cats who were her babies: Sophie, Link, Deku, and Malakai. "Ihey were all protected and loved by her.
In 2025, she moved to Oregon on her own, where she was welcomed with open arms by the Portland community. Franchesca was a pillar among her peers and supported everyone who was in her proximity. She was preparing to launch Nuwave Runaway, a modeling agency that helped locals start their career in fashion. In addition, she also was an entertainer and hosted various shows.
