Mrs. Geneva Roberts Joyce, 77, of Greensboro, died Saturday, February 8, 2013 at Beacon Place.
Geneva was born January 20, 1937 in Carthage, the daughter of Charlie Roberts and Esther Wiseman Roberts.
Geneva was a graduate of Pinehurst High School and attended Women’s College. She retired from Carolina’s Concrete Masonry Association after 23 years of service. Geneva and her husband Bobby loved to travel in the US and abroad.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, Jack Lee Cole.
Surviving in addition to her husband Bobby are her sister, Betty Needham and husband Gene of Carthage; nephew Eddie Needham of Carthage and her stepdaughter, Lu Ann Joyce of Greensboro.
Friends will be received Sunday, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
