Gerald "Jerry" Stack

Greensboro- Jerry Stack, 64, passed away on July 3, at Beacon Place.

A Memorial Mass service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Saint Paul The Apostle Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joe Mack and Father Louis Canino officiating. Family visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.

Jerry was born on November 5, 1949 in Miami FL to the late John Gerald and Carrie LeClaire Stack. He worked for more than thirty years in sales in the medical field. He spent the last year working as a driving instructor. He was member of Saint Paul The Apostle Catholic Church.

Jerry loved his family and received great joy from teasing them unmercifully. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, grilling and spending time on the water.

He is predeceased by his parents. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of twenty-nine years, Susan Stack; his “rotten” children, Carrie Johnson and husband Matt of Lansdale, PA, Jenny Oleson and husband Jeff of Jamestown, NC and Matthew Stack and wife Jen of San Diego, CA; his beautiful grandchildren, Jacob and Jamie Oleson, and Stephen Sokolowski; and his beloved dog, Sophie.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405 in Gerald’s memory.
