Grace A. Rhodes

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. Grace will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Lexington, NC, immediately following the funeral services. The family will receive friends and loved ones one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Grace was born in Reidsville on June 14, 1956 to the late Betty Jean Ashby and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Warner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Vernest Rhodes, Jr.; children, Lisa Crawford (Brian) of Pleasant Garden, Bobby Taylor (Julie) of Climax and Steven Rhodes (Andrea) of Statesville; 7 grandchildren, Terry, Christopher, Bradley, Lauren, Rhyleigh, Mason and Ryan; 6 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Kayden, Townsley, Hicks and Ashton; and other extended family and friends.
