Harold Wayne Kearns, Jr., 53, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2016. Harold was born in Greensboro, the son of the late Harold Wayne Kearns Sr. and Sally Louise Jenkins Kearns.
Harold was a graduate of Ragsdale High School and was a former employee with Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. He loved his family and loved to fish.
Harold is survived by his loving companion, Thomasine “Tommi” Kelly; his children, Gail Cearnal, Russell Kelly and Edward Cearneal all of Greensboro; sisters, Mary “Cookie” Dukes of Greensboro, Sally “Candi” Kearns Copley and husband Mitchell of Pleasant Garden, Angela “Angel” Kearns of Greensboro, Crystal Kearns of Greensboro; brother, Johnny Lee Kearns of Greensboro and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be a Gathering of Friends to celebrate Harold’s life from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel, 515 N. Elm St. Greensboro, NC 27401.
