

Harold Houston Odum, Jr., 55, a resident of Jamestown died Sunday May 13, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital. Harold was born February 2, 1957 in High Point the son of Harold Houston Odum, Sr. and Frances Elizabeth James Odum. He was a member of the Ragsdale High School Class of 1975 and attended Wake Forest University. He was a former employee with B&H Millwork in High Point.
Harold was a devoted father, a loving husband, a caring brother, a great golfing buddy, fisherman and friend to everyone he met.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Allie Holland Odum.
On February 1, 1999 he was married to the former Brenda Holland. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Holland-Odum of the home; one son, Harold Houston Odum III also of the home; three sisters, Judy Odum Cornelison, Janet Odum and Joyce Odum Graverson and husband Russ all of Jamestown.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor Barry Darnell. The family will receive friends following the service.
