I just recently learned of Dr. Iroetugo's passing and can't help but think of what an amazing physician this world has lost! I had the pleasure of working along side him while at MUSC and he was always such a joy to be around! Condolences to his beautiful family, and Happy Heavenly Birthday Dr. Iroetugo!

I always loved seeing Dr. Iroetugo’s name as the assigned doctor to my patients. He was always available and truly cared. I had the pleasure of knowing him for 10 years. Prayers for peace to the entire family. Dr. Iroetugo changed, saved, and blessed a lot of people. It was a pleasure to know him. 

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to you Neomi and your precious daughter.. please know that I am always keeping you and your family in my prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Dr. Iroetugo will be missed by so many!! I’ve had the pleasure of working with him for many years and it was also my honor to have taken care of him in his last weeks. He was a wonderful soul. 

Remembering Dr. Innocent A. Iroetugo

Rest in peace, my dear friend! We met in high school, attended different medical schools, and later relocated to the United States, with each of us not knowing that the other did.  

Sorry, we never met again after our last meeting, as medical students, visiting  Amiyi-Obilohia, Isuikwuato, Nigeria. You were one of the very few friends that I had at "Annunco" and my memory of the days of our youth will never fade.

May God grant your family and loved ones the strength to bear this great loss of such a wonderful, compassionate, and highly accomplished individual.

Going to miss him so much because he took care of me when I was a patient here in the hospital 

I worked w Dr.Irotuego for more than 10 years. I would always say here comes trouble and he would always cut up w me. I will never forget his laugh. It was a pleasure working with him.  I hope he rests in peace.. my prayers and condolences to his family. 

I have worked various locums assignments with Dr. Iroetugo and I always admired how hard he worked and his passion for family. Still seems like yesterday when I was with him in a doctors lounge a few months ago, we were doing a nocturnal shift and I asked him when’s he going to slow down.

A gentle soul, vibrant laugh, just a good man. Rest in power my friend, you’re home now chief

I want to remember him as the kind, loving, yet no nonsense type of doctor, that I met while working at High Point Regional. He was always kind to all, yet professional and enjoyed a laugh or two. Dr. Iroetugo will be missed by all who met or knew him.  It was alway a pleasure talking to him while taking care of his patients at HPRH now HPMC where we both worked, for many years.  May his soul RIPP.  My deepest condolences to his family. 

I worked with Dr Iroetugo for years at High Point Regional Medical Center.  It was such a pleasure working with him. I used to say I believe we may be related because you look like you could be my grandmother brother. Do you have family in S.C. he would just laugh. He always have a big smile on his face. Innocent and I got through tough times at HPMC with humor. When up to mischief, he would insist that he was Innocent. I told him the last time he was innocent was the day he was born. Once I put a pack of sardines on his desk with a note “With love from your secret admirer”. Other hospitalists and I teased him for days, asking if he  figured out who his secret admirer was. No longer a secret, I still admire you Innocent.  I will miss you dearly. Godspeed. 

I worked with Dr. Iroetugo for years at High Point Regional. I will always remember his smile and laughter. He was a pleasure to work with and will be missed very much.

Dr.  Iroetugo was a special colleague that made my travel assignment memorable. His hard work & dedication to the community didn’t go without notice.  Heaven has received another angel. Blessings to the Iroetugo Family 💜 

I met Dr. Iroetugo during the years I worked  as an RN at High Point Regional and always enjoyed working with him. I offer prayers for his family in this time of loss. He will be missed by so many!
