Jacqueline Joyce Rives

Jacqueline "Jackie" Joyce Rives, 82, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was born on August 27, 1943, in Guilford County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Harold and Clara Dean Joyce.

Jacqueline was a 1961 graduate of Ragsdale High School and member of Eastern Star and White Shrine. Jackie was a happy and giving person, member of Concord Friends Meeting, sang in the choir, enjoyed playing the piano and being involved in Missionary Circle at Concord Friends. She loved her cats, enjoyed traveling and was a collector of fine memorabilia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Harold Joyce and daughter Tina Rae Rives.

She is survived by her son Frederick (Chip) Rives (Donna), daughter Avis J. Rives, caregiver and friend Laura Blackstock, numerous cousins, friends, and her cat Rico.

Funeral will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 16, 2026, Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
