

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, with Pastor Russ Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Jackie was born August 24, 1930 in High Point, to the late Robert and Ethel Heilig. She became a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in 1963, where she was a member of the Mary Sunday School Class and served on various church committees. Jackie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who never met a stranger. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in life by her husband, Bobbie R. Venable; son, Gary Venable; and her brothers, Arnold, Ray, and Wallace Heilig.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Gayle Collins of Brown Summit; daughter-in-law, Lisa Venable of Thomasville; grandchildren, Johnie N. Collins, III and wife Kayla, Kimberly Collins Hulin and husband Jerry; great-grandchildren, Caleb Collins, Elizabeth Collins, Hayley Hulin; Mason Hulin, Lynlee Collins, Kira Collins, and Julya Collins; sister-in-law, Bonnie Heilig; aunt, Ester Heilig; several special nieces and nephews; and all her work family at Kohl’s.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 pm on Friday evening, January 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
