James Clifton Holliday, Sr. 73, a resident of Randleman passed away at his residence on Wednesday June 1, 2016. Mr. Holliday was born June 23, 1942 in Randolph Co., the son of Robert Stoneman Holliday and Mildred Ann Cable Holliday.
James was a pipefitter by trade.
On July 16, 1960 he was married to Beverly Kellis. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Kellis Holliday of the home; daughter, Karen H. Gomes of High Point; sons, Michael Holliday and wife Jill of Greensboro, Jimmy Holliday and wife Robyn of Greensboro; brothers, Daniel Holliday and wife Mavis of Randleman, Bobby Holliday of Greenville; grandchildren, Kristyn Jackson, Carmen Morgan, James Ryan Holliday, Emma Holliday, Cheyanna Cooper, Hunter Cooper, Autumn Cooper and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Arianna, Alex, Michelle, Aiden, Jaiden, Seth and Bryse.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
