She was a graduate of Asheboro High School and was a member of DaySpring Church.
Jean was married to the Reverend Carlton Paddison Collins who preceded her in death on December 12, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Reverend Phillip Collins and wife Marie of Jamestown; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service for Jean will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. There will be no formal visitation hours.
