The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory St.
Mr. Meris was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Meris and two brothers, Billy Meris and Larry Meris.
Mr. Meris is survived by his wife, Rebecca Meris, step-sons, Clyde Isley (Patty), David Isley all of Greensboro, brothers; Delbert Smith (Lera) of High Point, Freddie Meris (Debbie) of Browns Summit, Bobby Meris (Brenda) of High Point, John Meris of Canton, George Meris, Randy Meris and Kenny Meris all of Browns Summit, sisters; Betty Smith (Roger) of High Point, Teresa Huffand (Philip) of Kernersville, Brenda McCannon (George) of Canton and Lona Mae Pullman of Reidsville, and grandchildren; Katlyn, Faith And Aaron Isley.
