A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 am with Rev. John Marks officiating.
He was born in Guilford County on November 26, 1945 to the late John and Louise Warren. He worked as a painting contractor. He was a US Army Veteran having served in the US Army 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions in the Dominican Republic and Vietnam. Jerry received a bronze star and two purple hearts.
He is survived by his children, Jerry, Justin and Shannon; sister, Brenda Faircloth and husband Johnnie; brothers, Wayne Warren and wife Jean, Rodney Warren and wife Rachel, Danny Warren and wife Vicki.
The family would like to thank the staff of Beacon Place for the care given to Jerry during his illness.
The family will gather at the home of Brenda Faircloth.
