Jo Ann Erickson Brannon

Jo Ann Erickson Brannon, 83, of Greensboro died Friday, October 23, 2015 at Golden Living Retirement Center. A memorial service will held at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Funeral Home.

Jo Ann was a native of Elkins, W. Va. and was retired from Macy's Department store where she had worked for many years in Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. Erickson, Sr. and wife, Eleanor Lobb Erickson of Elkins, WV, and sister, Carol Daniels of Beverly, WV.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah and her husband, Hunter Galloway III of Greensboro; grandchildren, Andrew M. Galloway, Hunter H. Galloway, IV, Patrick Brannon Galloway and wife, Meghan, and Thomas Jefferson Galloway, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jack Brannon Galloway, Grace Elizabeth Galloway and Kelsey Rose Galloway; sisters, Dorothy Erickson, Evelyn Lange and brothers Carl E. Erickson, Jr. and wife, Carol and George Howard Erickson and wife, and nieces and nephews.

In the place of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Sarah Morris Fund, 617 N. Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27401; or Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG), 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.

Special thanks also for the care from First Presbyterian Church Pastoral staff and the wonderful caring help from HPCG and the staff at Golden Living Golden Living Center for their exceptional care during the past four years.
