A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015, at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Rev. Gene Dean officiating.
He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Rebecca; daughters, Shirley Watts and husband Dean, of Thomasville, Brenda Truitt of Greensboro; grandchildren, Crissy Wood, Billy Joe Strickland, Dean Watts, Jr., Benjamin Watts, three great grandchildren and brother, Curtis Strickland of Fayetteville.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.
