Josephine Eaton Pell, 96, a resident of Camden Place passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2015. Josephine was born March 25, 1919 in Pilot Mountain the daughter of Fountain Ross and Nonie Brim Eaton. She was a former employee with Guilford Mills and was the oldest living member of Gate City Baptist Church.
Josephine was married to James Alda Pell who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Johnny Pell; her parents; two sisters, Mary E. Oliver, Peggy E. Keaton and her brothers, Clyde and R. J. Eaton.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia E. Apple and husband Billy of Greensboro; niece, Patricia Melvin of Kernersville; nephews, Kenneth Eaton of Greensboro, Jerry Oliver and wife Brenda of Greensboro; great nephew, Terry Oliver of Apex; great-great nephew, Andrew Oliver of Apex and close friend, Nina Abrams of Greensboro..
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gate City Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Michael Owens. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Camden Place for their love and care of Josephine, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for their care of Josephine and Dot Welch for the time, love and care she gave to Josephine.
