Joshua Tyler McGlynn

Joshua "Tyler" McGlynn, 24, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. Tyler was born on February 26, 2001, in Guilford County, North Carolina, to his loving parents, Ryan and Michelle McGlynn. Tyler found joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly spending quality time with his family, savoring the delicious meals prepared at family gatherings, and taking annual family vacations to Topsail Beach. He was a proud Project Manager with Old Timers Roofing, cherishing the opportunity to work alongside his father. An avid and highly competitive gamer, Tyler approached everything he did with passion.

His generous spirit, kind heart, humor, vibrant personality, and the profound impact he had on everyone he encountered will be deeply missed.

Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Cook, and his cousins, Nicolas and Madeleine Fichack.

He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Michelle McGlynn of Greensboro; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Cook of Greensboro; his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Carla McGlynn of Whitsett; and his two brothers, Aiden and Gage McGlynn of Greensboro.

Tyler also leaves behind his beloved aunts, Sara McGlynn (Stanley) of Whitsett and Audrey Caveness of Newport, along with many cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, located at 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
