Judy Peeples Hare

Greensboro- Judy Lynn Peeples Hare, 56, died February 24, 2015. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be at 11 AM Saturday, February 28, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service.

Judy was born in Greensboro to the late Raymond D. and Dainie Howerton Peeples. She attended Rutledge Business College and has been employed with Jefferson Pilot (now Lincoln Financial) since 2001 as a tax analyst and was a dedicated, loyal and hardworking employee. She was married to David Hare for twenty four years until his passing in 2008. Judy loved to read, play golf, was a talented cook and happiest outside working in her garden and lawn. Friends and family will remember her quick wit and ability to share exactly how she felt if asked and sometimes when not asked. If you really wanted to get her excited just say something negative about her beloved Blue Devils. She had a generous heart and would help anyone who asked.

She leaves behind her siblings, Wilma Ward of McLeansville and her son Gregg; Marilyn (Danny) Hatcher of Greensboro and their children, Mary Jane and John; Billy Peeples of Burlington and his children, Tracie, Tara, and Keifer; and Donna (Joe) Granieri of Charlotte and their son, Joe. Also surviving are eight grand nieces and nephews and special friend, Henry Brown.
