Kathryn "Kitty" Campbell

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Jeff Johnsen. The family will receive friends Thursday, 6-8 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.

Kathryn was born December 23, 1932 in Fairfax, VA, the daughter of Carroll and Frances Mabe Buckley.

Kitty was a member of Mt. Pisgah Church and employed by Sears for many years. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, tending to her flowers and cracking a joke. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sherrill.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Ben, Gary and Mark Campbell and her brother, Douglas Buckley; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family asks with gratitude that memorials in Kathryn’s name be made to Mt. Pisgah Church, 2600 Pisgah Church Rd., Greensboro, NC 27455.
