Kimberly Gayle Dorman

Her celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 15, at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel starting with the family receiving friends at 2:00 and the memorial service at 3:00. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome at her home after the service.

Kim was born in Roxboro, NC, on February 10, 1962 to Leroy and Betty Dixon. Kim always cherished the time she spent with her children and forever treasured the peaceful moments on the lake with her husband, Dana. You could see Kim’s love for life in her smile and cheerful personality. She had a warm heart and spent long hours helping family and friends. Her motto was to always do at least one good deed for someone every day. She managed to continue this act of kindness until the very end, by extending the life of others as an organ donor.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Dixon, and son Brooks Jackson. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Dana Lynn Dorman, son Blake Jackson, daughter Nicole Jackson, stepson Madison Dorman, granddaughters Ava Jackson, Adleigh Jackson, Leila Daniel and brother Don Dixon along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
