Kristin Ann LaGrega, 52, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Kristin was born on June 9, 1965, the daughter of Walter Johnson and Phyllis (Giguere) Johnson in Springfield, MA. She loved to ride horses, especially English style. Kristin always placed her family first. She volunteered at her son’s school, Southwest Elementary School when they were young. Her boys were her pride and joy. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.
Kristin was preceded in death by her husband Todd in 2002. Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons; Alec Richard LaGrega of Raleigh, NC, Evan Todd LaGrega and Ryan Thomas LaGrega, both of High Point, NC; parents, Walter and Phyllis Johnson of Greensboro, NC; sister, Karen Johnson of Greensboro, NC; brothers, David Johnson(Ann) of Los Angeles, CA, Daniel Johnson of Stoughton, WI, Don Johnson(Kris) of Waunakee, WI, Douglas Johnson of High Point, NC , Dwight Johnson (Janet) of Raleigh, NC, mother-in-law, Joanne LaGrega of Port St. Lucie, FL.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Saturday, March 3rd, at 12:00 noon at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the LaGrega Children College Scholarship Fund in care of Doug Johnson, 3413 Haleys Way, High Point, NC 27265.
