
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, in Greensboro. Lelia will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Westminster Gardens.
Lelia was born in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Albert and Erma Bell Floyd, on September 30, 1918. She lived the past 8 years with her daughter and son-in-law in Charlotte, NC, but, previously lived in Greensboro for 45 years. Lelia loved to travel and do handwork. She loved spending time with her family and was able to enjoy their company through this past Thanksgiving. In addition to her parents, Lelia was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Cecil B. Coleman; and all her brothers and sisters, as well as their spouses. There is a great celebration in Heaven as these loved ones are joined together again.
Lelia is survived by her son, Ronald Dale Coleman and his wife Malinda; daughter, Sue C. Kemper and her husband James Sr.; grandchildren, Ron Coleman, Jr. and his wife Crystal, Candace Coleman, James Kemper, Jr., Christopher Kemper and his wife Shelley, and Thia Rocha and her husband Tao; and 5 great-grandchildren, Jake Kemper, Alex Kemper, John Kemper, Trinity Rocha and Tao Rocha.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
