Leslie Dunn Andrews

She was born in Goochland, Virginia to Ulysses and Irene Dunn. Her father Ulysses passed away when she was young and her mother remarried a great man named John Heffner and he raised her. She worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. She and her husband Carl were former co-owners of 311 Motor Speedway.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Andrews; her parents, Ulysses Dunn and stepdad John and Irene Heffner; her daughter, Grace Sewell; her son, EJ Barwick; sisters Janie Tyler and Bonnie McDaniel; and brothers Grant Dunn and Sidney Dunn.

She is survived by her son, Buddy Heffner (Lynn); daughter, Angela Hill (John); and son Ed Barwick (Candy); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Johnny Dunn and John Heffner, Jr.

Leslie was an avid race fan and animal lover. She enjoyed the company of her dog Smoke. She also loved going to church and loved all her church family at Oasis Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a very giving spirit and her straightforward personality.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 10, 2024 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
