A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27405, by Dr. Don Clement.
Linda was preceded in death by her truly beloved parents, Ronda Rowe Souther and Pansy Violet Robbins Souther.
Linda was a native of Surry County, attended Greensboro College, where she majored in interior design. She enjoyed making wreaths and flower arrangements. Linda worked at AT&T for 8 years. AT&T helped her get early retirement. She enjoyed working at Sears & Roebuck during Christmas. Linda was a server in the kitchen. She also worked at a nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she was always devoted and caring for her patients. Linda took care of adults and children in their home and in her parents’ home. She loved to fellowship with friends to talk about past experiences and the fun that they had. Linda never met a stranger; she was always smiling and friendly to everyone.
Linda leaves to cherish her loving memories with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of cousins and friends. Special thank you to her Alpine Health caregiving family and to her special friends Candy Hunter and Rhonda Kearns.
Linda was predeceased in death by her family.
