Loretta Ann Malcolm

She was one of five children born to William T. McClain and Marguerite V. McClain of Trenton, NJ. She married Frank J. Malcom (Major, US Army, deceased) in 1946 when he was a young enlisted man and they traveled the world in service to our country.

Loretta loved her family and her Catholic faith. Nothing defined her more than her caring spirit and her respect for others. She tried to make everyone she encountered feel appreciated and valued. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her three children, Carol M. Davis (Benjamin) of Greensboro, NC, Mark Malcolm (Dorothy) of San Mateo, CA and Jeff Malcolm of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, Benjamin Davis of Boise, ID, Greg Davis (Cathi) of Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey Davis (Melody) of Greensboro, NC, Kylie Malcolm of Minneapolis, MN, and Cameron Malcolm of Los Angeles, CA; and six wonderful great grandchildren.
