yndia Ruth Crabtree, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Wesley Long Hospital. Lyndia was born in Guilford County on September 9, 1944, the daughter of Reuben Early and Ella Pressley Crabtree Sr.
She was a lifelong member of Muir’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed political science. She enjoyed all sports and followed the NC State Wolfpack and the Carolina Panthers. Lyndia was a loving person and will be missed by many.
Lyndia was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carolyn Anne Crabtree. She is survived by her brother, Reuben E. Crabtree Jr. of Raleigh, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, 2:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Money officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
