

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father John Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Mydlow was born July 26, 1925 in Water Valley, MS to the late Austin Glen and Nellie Mae Jackson. She was a member of Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and was active in the Women’s Auxillary of the Knights of Columbus. Mrs. Mydlow lived a simple life, loved to sew, and was an excellent baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter P Mydlow, and son, Mark J. Mydlow.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia Mydlow and husband Gary of Durham; son Michael Mydlow and wife, Odette of Fairfax Station, VA; seven granddaughters, Emily, Annie, Mary, and Milana Pakes of Durham, and Amanda, Megan, and Michelle Mydlow of Fairfax Station, VA; sister, Virginia Morris of San Diego, CA; and brothers, William Jackson of Memphis, TN, Charles Jackson of Pinehurst, NC, Curtis Jackson of Birmingham, AL, and Thomas Jackson of Huntsville, AL.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Street Chapel.
