Mo held vice-president roles in multiple industries over his career.
He spent his last two years as operations manager for daycares in Virginia and North Carolina. His favorite part of the job was spending time with the children who affectionately called him Mr. Mo.
Mo's greatest loves were his wife, two sons and his dog, Spike. Mo loved hunting and finding the largest shark teeth on his favorite beach in Florida. Mo loved his fantasy football team and NC State Sports no matter how much pain they caused him.
Mo spent his life trying to make the lives around him better. Whether it was through his career of helping others find work, the generosity he shared with his friends, or the unshakable love he had for family, you could be certain he was trying to help others. He was a paragon that embodied honesty, decency, and kindness. Mo is the reason his sons are the men they are today.
Mo is survived by his wife of 35 years Sabrina Caldwell and his sons Ian and Connor. He is preceded in death by his soul dog Spike. Left to cherish his memory are many more family members and especially his mother-in-law, whom he held in a special place in his heart. Mo's dedication to making others' lives better will be carried on through the lasting effects of his actions and the memories he gave to those whose lives he touched.
A gathering to celebrate Mo's life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. 515 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27401. This will be a time to share stories and your favorite memories with his loved ones.
