A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Hinshaw United Methodist Church, 4501 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive guests at the church following the service.
Naomi was an active member of Hinshaw United Methodist Church, Greensboro, NC. She was a charter member both of Women in Construction, Greensboro Chapter (30 years), and American Business Women’s Association, Jamestown Chapter (25 years) and served as president of both organizations during her years of service.
Naomi is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Don) VanDusen of Badin Lake, NC and Jamie (Roger) Corriher of High Point, NC; four grandchildren, Allison (Kevin) Faircloth, Emily (Joe) Piacentino, Philip Corriher and Natalie Corriher and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Charles (Hazel) Webb of Erwin, TN and Joyce Webb Cureton of Rossville, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Naomi Ambrose to Hinshaw United Methodist Church. Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel is assisting the Ambrose family.
