A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 pm Tuesday evening at Fairview Baptist Church and also from12 noon until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.
Pauline is survived by her daughters, Clara Hicks of Durham; MaryAnn Rigney of McLeansville and Patsy Travis Michaux of Greensboro. Mrs. Travis has seventeen grandchildren, over 20 great grandchildren, and even more great great grandchildren.
Pauline is now united with her late parents, Seburn and “Mama Rosa” Paschal; her late husband, James H. Travis Sr.; sons Roy Tracey Travis, James H. Travis Jr.; Douglas McArthur Travis, Larry Wayne Travis and many other loved family members and friends.
Pauline was of the Baptist faith and loved by her large family. She lead a long life of 93 years and now is at rest. We love you and miss you dearly.
