Peggy was a member of the Highland Cotton Mill community her entire life. She attended Highland United Methodist Church until she and Leroy began attending Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church in 2020. Attending church was one of Peggy’s greatest joys.
Peggy worked at MAC Panel, in High Point, NC, for over 40 years. She was very fond of her time working at MAC Panel and especially the friends she made throughout her career.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was well-known for her cooking and always inviting people into her home for a meal. After retirement, you could find Peggy shopping, thrifting, attending events for her grandchildren or traveling.
A funeral service for Peggy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church in High Point, NC, officiated by Pastor Tim Porter. Peggy’s family invites friends and family to join them for a reception directly following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105 or Hospice of the Piedmont at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
Although Peggy will be greatly missed, we are certain as she entered Heaven, she was welcomed with open arms and a final “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
