A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Henderson, NC, with the Rev. Frank Sossamon officiating.
Sara was born in Greensboro, December 27, 1925, to the late George and Belle Livengood and was of the Christian faith. She was owner and operator of what used to be The Henderson Credit Bureau. She retired from Nationwide Insurance Company and was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sandra W. Langston and her husband Wesley of Henderson; her son, Glenn Martin Walker, III of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Kathryn L. Gill and husband Paul, Wes Langston, Chris Langston and wife Melinda, all of Henderson, David Walker, and Sarajean Walker, both of Houston, TX; and three great-grandchildren, Beau Langston, Carly Gill, and Hunter Gill.
The family will receive friends following the committal service at the cemetery.
