Sarah Caldwell Caldwell Beamon

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3906 W. Friendly Avenue, with the Reverend Tom Clymer and the Reverend Mark Brainerd officiating. A private burial will be held at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Sarah was born July 5, 1935 in Charlotte, NC to the late Sam and Mary Caldwell. She graduated from Presbyterian College in 1957. She taught both 7th and 8th grades in NC Public Schools from 1957 to 1967. The majority of her time she spent as a homemaker caring for her family who will dearly miss her. Sarah was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a Certified International Handwriting Analyst. She enjoyed lecturing on cruise ships while traveling through the Western World.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Morris Caldwell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 49 years, Bill Beamon; son Andy Beamon, and wife Mary of Jamestown NC; grandchildren, Hannah and Will Beamon of Jamestown; sister, Mary Ruth Gibson of Charlotte NC; and brothers, Conard Caldwell of Montreat NC, and Donald Caldwell of Charlotte NC.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday evening, January 3, 2012 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N. Elm St., in Greensboro.
