She was born in Guilford County, the daughter of June Washington and Ellen Blair Pegram. She was retired from Banknote of America. She was a life long member of Morehead United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and five sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Derrick Shane Willard; sisters, Peggy Pegram, Judy Aydelette (Bill), Elizabeth Joyner (Richard) and brothers, Richard Pegram (Dorothy), Lindsey Pegram (Ann).
Memorials services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Morehead United Methodist Church at 3214 Horsepen Creek Road, Greensboro, North Carolina with Rev. Veravita Alvord officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship Hall following the service.
Memorials may be made to Morehead UMC, Land Acquisition Fund in memory of Sarah Pegram Willard.
