Sean Patrick Sullivan, 50, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children. Sean's greatest joy came from spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Chris; his three children, Shea, Brie, and Tim; his mother, Inchu Yi Sullivan, and his brother, Mike Sullivan.
Sean earned a Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut and was a pharmacist and manager for 28 years. He was admired by colleagues and staff, earning praise for his dedication and work ethic. In 2018, Sean was awarded North Carolina Pharmacist of the Month by Pharmacy News Today.
Born in Waterbury and raised in Middlebury, Connecticut, Sean was the son of Inchu Yi and John Sullivan.
Along with his wife, Sean educated their children through homeschooling. Sean was a patient and brilliant teacher, able to make complex subjects like math and chemistry engaging.
Sean’s lifelong hobby was playing tennis, most recently in the Greensboro Tennis Program and at Lawndale Tennis. A gifted and competitive athlete with a gracious, optimistic demeanor, he took pleasure in teaching others and inviting them to experience the sport he cherished.
Sean’s faith was strong, and he will be remembered for his genuine spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering love. Sean did everything with an engaging sense of humor. A natural encourager, Sean liked sharing his knowledge and experiences to help people. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm at Hanes Lineberry, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC, 27401. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm at the same location. Burial will take place at 3pm at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Dr., Greensboro, NC 27455.
