Shirley I. Booth

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Guilford Memorial Park.

Shirley was born August 30, 1925, in Danville, VA to the late Willie James and Alpha Land Isom. She graduated from Greensboro Senior High School and attended GTCC taking bookkeeping and secretarial courses. At night she took science courses. After 20 years, she retired from Guilford County Mental Health Services as a bookkeeper. Shirley was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church since 1987.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her daughters, Becky Beeson and Ann Clifton. She is survived by her sons, Lee Booth and his wife Sue, Tim Booth and his wife Verna both of Greensboro; sister, Louise Calhoun of Archdale; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is her loving extended family.
