She is survived by her children, Glenn Meredith and wife Connie Meredith, Sharon McMahan and husband Dennis McMahan, Alan Meredith and wife Melissa Meredith; grandchildren, Meredith Younger Spell, Cindy Owens and husband Danny Owens, Christopher McMahan and wife Courtney McMahan, Cody Meredith and wife Kristin Meredith. She was blessed with eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Walter Oliver Meredith, Susan Meredith Younger and Michael Ray Meredith.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; family gatherings and holidays. Her favorite seasons were spring and summer, as she enjoyed sitting on her porch and loving on her dog Bandit. She loved Dallas Cowboys football, Game Shows, Crossword Puzzles and reading the National Enquirer.
She will truly be missed……Our loss is Heaven's Gain. We love you Shirley aka: Nanny!!!
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Guilford Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Mark Mosley.
