Master Sgt. Steven Wayne Dixon U.S. Air Force retired, 70, a resident of Greensboro passed away at his residence on Sunday morning. He was born October 21, 1950 in Greensboro the son of the late H.L. and Erma Lou Mahaffey Dixon.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Chadwick Dixon of the home; his daughter, Kristin Dixon Summey and husband Jason of Asheboro; his son, Steven Scott Dixon and wife Heather Wagner of Greensboro; his sister, Sherri Dixon Medley of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kaleb Newman, Aiden Newman, Damon Dixon, Kira Dixon and step grandchildren, Cheyenne Summey, Kaylee Summey, Stacy Summey, Jameson Summey, Hailey Knight and Jenna Knight.
A Celebration of Life Service for Steven will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at Friendly Baptist Church, 8102 NC-22 Climax, NC 27233 conducted by the Reverend Richard Hedgecock. Military Honors will be presented by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
