We were hostess at CoMMA for a concert featuring Melba Moore. Sylvia was always willing to pitch in and work in the community and to help anyone that she could. My heart broke 💔 when I learned of her transition. Family I offer my sincere and deepest condolences. May Sylvia Clark Anderson SIHP until we meet again.

We will miss our beautiful, kind classmate. Sending my thoughts and prayers.

Nine girls from different parts of North Carolina including me from South Carolina were assigned to South Spencer at UNCG. We stuck together and we became family. Today our family chain is broken and words cannot express the profound sadness and heartache we have. Sylvia, we love you, and we will miss you. Rest in peace, my Friend.

My deepest condolences to Ms. Anderson’s family. I used to work with her during her employment at NCCU. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all during this difficult time.

My prayers goes out to her daughter and granddaughter.  Sylvia, talked to me a lot about her granddaughter.  Her granddaughter was her heart. Now rest in our heavenly father arms.

My fondest memory of working with Ms. Sylvia at NCCU,  is that she hired me and gave me a $21,000 increase. She sent me on conferences to obtain new skills. My career took off ever since. Thanks for giving me a chance.

I am profoundly saddened by the news of Sylvia's passing. My heart is with you in your time of sorrow. I knew Sylvia first as a colleague when I worked as EEO Director at UNC and she held the same position at NC A&T. She then asked me to come to NCCU to help her out when she became the Chief Human Resources Officer, I served in her prior position and later served as her Deputy HR Officer. I so enjoyed working with her, she was so sincere, kind, compassionate and the consummate professional. She was also a very fun person, and her laughter and smile could light up a room. She was always well dressed, stylish and elegant. I will always remember her with fondness. She will truly be missed. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family during this difficult time. Praying for peace and strength during this sorrowful time.

Our family is saddened by the earthly loss of Sylvia.  We pray for the family’s comfort and peace.
