Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Swink was a member of Lankford Memorial Baptist Church, the Love Sunday school class and the Young at Heart Senior Group. She was a native of Burtrum, MN and attended the University of Minnesota. Mrs. Swink was a veteran of the WAVES of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. She loved to travel and enjoyed growing flowers. She was retired from the Guilford County Tax Department with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Lee Swink and their children, Patrick, Billy and Cheryl.
Mrs. Swink is survived by her son, Kelly Swink and wife, Cindy, granddaughter, Cassie Swink, and daughter-in-law, Donna Swink all of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
