

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12th, 2011 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 North Elm Street in Greensboro. N.C.
Born October 5th, 1927, in Greensboro, North Carolina, he graduated from Grimsley High School in 1946. He earned his pilot’s license at the young age of 15, and volunteered later in life with the Civil Air Patrol. He studied music at Guilford College and played the violin with Randolph Strings and the Greensboro Concert Orchestra. After retiring from Weiman Furniture Company in 1995, he enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Watson; his father, William Bonner Hall, Sr.; and his sisters, Millicent Montague and Marjorie Lee.
He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Guthrie (and husband Douglas), the mother of his sons, Sara Williams Hall, sons, Bill Hall (and wife Jacqueline) and Christopher Hall, and daughter, Sara Botts (and husband Henry). He also leaves his grandchildren, Joseph Rose, William Rose, Steven Guthrie, Terrance Smith, Desiree Hall, Blake Hall, Brooks Hall, Gabrielle Botts, Rebekah Botts, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
