William Cleo Maness, 95, a resident of Greensboro passed away on September 22, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. He was born August 11, 1924 in Greensboro the son of William Dempsey and Annie Purcell Maness. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Maness Baker of Greensboro.
William was a self-employed paint contractor. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sons, William Ronnie Maness of Las Vegas, NV, William Jeffrey Maness (Felix) of High Point and his granddaughter, Wendy Johnson Lopez (Thad) of Auburndale, FL.
At William’s request, private burial was held at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
