Mrs. Wilma Surratt Koury, a resident of Greensboro died Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Beacon Place. She was born on January 30, 1938 in Caswell County the daughter of Clifton Ace and Addie Marie Scarboro Surratt. Mrs. Koury was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Cletus and J.W. “Cotton” Surratt.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Koury of the home, one daughter, Karen of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Joe and his wife Karen of Huntersville; three grandchildren, Jacob, Amanda and Samantha; three sisters, JoAnn Lane and husband Bill, Ann Landreth and husband Watson, Glenda Handy and husband Dave; two brothers, James Surratt and wife Peggy, Mike Surratt and wife Laurie and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park
A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel with the family receiving friends until 8:00 p.m. following the Prayer Service.
