Dale E. Hamer

Dale E. Hamer, 63 of Greensburg, IN. passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at his home. He was born June 21, 1949 in Greensburg, IN. the son of Charles Robert and Hilda Maxine (Doggett) Hamer. He was a 1967 graduate of Greensburg High School and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a Factory Worker at Delta Faucet, retiring in 2011 after 40 years. He was a member of the Greensburg American Legion and the Eagles. He loved going on his fishing trips at least four a year, and when he wasn't fishing he enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by one Son: Michael (Mandy) Hamer of Greensburg, IN.; three Sisters: Diane (Roy) Preston of Greensburg,; Deborah (Tom) Walterman of Greensburg,; and Lisa (Kevin) Conwell of Westport, IN.; two Brothers: Dallas (Linda), and David (Sarah) Hamer both of Greensburg, IN. He is also survived by four Grandchildren: Shaley, Logan, Tristen, and Niles. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday March 20, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 10:30am at the funeral home.
